Senior Java Developer

Responsibilites
- Work closely with delivery leads to understand Application functionality, Data & Business flows as a basis for defining monitoring baselines and thresholds
- Interface with Development, Platform Services and PTG teams to schedule and implement monitoring and alerting tools
- Compile, automate and publish regular monitoring and trending reports
Requirements
- At times candidate may need to work flexible hours to engage with other global IT teams in Singapore, London & New York
- Strong technical skills/experience within the CFO domain (process, system, methodologies)
- University degree level (preferably in IT or Finance)
- 5-8 years of experience engineering and implementing application level monitoring solutions
- Strong knowledge of UNIX, shell and perl scripts
- Sound knowledge of DB, JAVA, UNIX/LINUX, Windows systems and architecture
- Strong project implementation skills, with ability to identify obstacles or impediments and escalate appropriately
- Sound knowledge of JIRA/Quality Center
- Strong analytical problem solving skills and Decision-Making
- Understanding of Agile development methodology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Problem solver and technology enthusiast
