The server side solution engineer analyzes the requirements specifications, designs, implements and documents the technical solution in agreement with the technical application owner and the solution architect
The development work should take into consideration the strategic roadmap of the domain, architecture standards and guidelines, economic efficiency, quality and feasibility within the project boundaries
Implements the functional and non-functional requirements and runs automatic JUnit tests and technical integration tests for the developed software
Supports requirements engineers and testers by resolving functional as well as technical issues that come up during the testing phase
The solution engineer works closely with the domain architect, the solution architect, the technical application owner and other software engineers
Must skills:
4 or more years of experience in software development in Java Enterprise application development projects
Strong development experience based on Java EE 5 specifications
EJB 3.x
JSF, Facelets and CSS
JPA 2.x (EclipseLink)
SQL knowledge on Oracle 11g
XML and corresponding Java frameworks, e.g. JAXB
WebLogic server 9.x/10.x knowledge
In depth knowledge of Eclipse and Subversion or CVS
JUnit
UML
Fluent written and spoken English
Integrity and a strong sense to foster collaboration in a team
