Would you like to be responsible for developing and optimising the overall layout and conceptual design, when we construct onshore wind farms in Poland?
Join our specialist team in Warsaw and become our new Senior Layout Specialist or Layout Manager focusing on challenging wind projects. At present, we are hiring staff for all job functions, and our team will soon count 20 employees.
You will be joining one of the leading energy companies in Europe within the fields of developing, constructing and operating onshore and offshore wind farms. We have more than 30 years of experience in wind power, and up to 20 per cent of our power is produced from renewable resources.
For the past 10 years, we have been active within wind power in Poland and are one of the leading companies in the onshore market. We own and operate three wind farms in the northern part of Poland and expect to commence construction of another wind farm during autumn 2011. We have a significantly growing portfolio of wind farm projects in Poland. As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we wish to strengthen our committed Polish team.
You will be based at our office in Warsaw. You should expect some travelling to Denmark to ensure a solid integration with our Danish organisation. As part of your job, you should also expect a number of travels to our sites in Northern Poland.
Areas of responsibility
You will manage and supervise a team of four employees.
Your areas of responsibility will also include driving, analysing and optimising the overall wind farm layout and the conceptual design of the onshore wind farm, including focusing on the technology choice processes and financial modelling.
As our process responsible person, you will coordinate tasks with all project stakeholders, including collecting input from our engineering departments and specific details on site conditions, consents, etc.
Furthermore, your key duties will be to:
- analyse various scenarios for placing wind turbines foundations, cable routes, substations, roads, etc based on input from colleagues in our engineering departments, specific site conditions, environmental constraints and consent conditions
- evaluate and optimise design, production and capital expenditures to secure an optimised business case
- report and document the technological choices and the overall wind farm layout for decision-making.
Additionally, you will ensure that our projects in Poland are developed in a standardised way and in accordance with our company's policies and guidelines. To ensure that, you will work closely together with your Danish colleagues and report directly to our organisation in Denmark.
You will also participate in the general development and optimisation of action plans and tools in relation to the international development of onshore and offshore wind farms.
