Senior/Lead Java Developer

Responsibilites
- Design and develop code in a full-stack capacity, in accordance with Client core technology and architecture standards; deliver quality, on time and within budget, and delight customers
- Participate in and contribute to code reviews; standards development and review; process improvement and best practices
- Support QA testing, beta and user-acceptance testing, and production issues as needed
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of development experience with 5 years in Java and J2EE
- At least 2 years of experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3 web application development
- At least 1 year of experience using client side JS frameworks like Backbone, Marionette or AngularJS
- All phases of SDLC, preferably the recent Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience in version controls tools, preferably Git
- Solid understanding and experience in developing SQL and stored procedures for database applications (Oracle preferred)
- Knowledge of application server environments (WebLogic preferred),
- Self-starter, work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Solid experience in IDEs, such as Eclipse
- Experience in developing Unit test cases in Junit, or other unit testing frameworks
- Experience in Agile development; preferably Scrum
- Strong communications skills
Preferred Experience:
- Knowledge and experience of online banking or cash management applications are preferred but not required
- Knowledge of client side technologies like Backbone and Marionette are a plus
- C++ knowledge and experience preferred, but not required
- For Lead position practical team leading experience is a must.

The Senior Developer will work on a cross-functional project / release team that will typically include: product management, development and QA, configuration management, and technical support. The developer will interact with quality assurance personnel on defect resolution and user-acceptance testing activities. They will be an active member of the development community, promoting best practices and contributing to re-use of functionality.
