Department Description
Supply Chain structure is currently being dynamically developed here in Cracow. It includes Order Management, Order Scheduling, Demand and Supply Planning and Delivery Management. The department is expected to become a Center of Excellence in the global structures in the near future. Supply Chain is supporting sales process and operations on daily basis starting from forecasting through order scheduling and management, securing material availability up to shipping. This function has the responsibility to place purchase orders on the supplier, ensure that delivery dates meet the requirements and track all required steps until purchase order is booked received and invoiced. This role is specifically intended to focus on 3rd party suppliers / UN
- To oversee the delivery process of 3rd party items in EMEA from supplier to final customer
- Closely liaise with the Procurement Organisation on supplier PO placement and their execution
- Act especially as focal point for Project Managers and Field Teams, amongst others in all consolidation matters
- Understand all project related requirements and goals
- Communicate and coordinate with all involved functional groups to meet those project goals
- Ensure in cooperation with Transportation team that all logistic arrangements and critical parameters as destination, INCO-terms, transportation mode etc, will be supported within the required timelines
- Check for export control requirements and work with all relevant parties that those requirements are fulfilled
- Strong focus is on risk assessment and cross-functional management, where needed, to mitigate the risks
- Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue target.
- University degree (B.Sc.) in economic fields or equivalent economic apprenticeship with 5+ years professional experience in Supply Chain
- Experience in executing projects in an international environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills over multiple hierarchical levels
- Ability to provide accurate data and summary report
- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritization skills as well as strong work ethic, personal integrity and high level of professionalism
- Ability to work in a team, self-motivation and capable of working pro-active and independently
- Being fluent in spoken and written English is absolutely essential.
