C#.NET analyst developer will be responsible for full application development lifecycle (mostly backend). It includes direct interaction with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, solution design, configuration changes and/or code changes, testing and release management of applications related to risk calculation. To be able to efficiently play role in development of risk applications it is necessary to build business knowledge about risk calculation and financial products (especially Commodities & FX derivatives) therefore it is a perfect opportunity to learn about risk management of trade portfolio within the bank in a complex mission critical risk system.
Additional duties and responsibilities:
- maintenance and improvement of current development tools including common shared dlls and automation tool
- 3rd level support, investigation of production issues and bug fixing
- occasionally on call rota support to ensure business continuity is require

Required:
- Bachelor, Master in Science (Computer, Math or Finance preferred)
- C#.NET and VisualStudio
- Multithreading
- Web Services
- Good development practices (automated testing, design patterns, N-tier architecture)
- Agile development methodologies (like SCRUM)
Desirable:
- Resharper, middleware messaging (IBM Websphere MQ, Tibco EMS), databases (MS SQL, Oracle), COM, PowerShell, Excel or other development or analysis tools
- Xml and xml tools, knowledge of xslt
Other important requirements:
- interest in financial markets and ability to learn quickly business domain
- open mind and strong analytical skills
- problem solving - investigation skills, knowledge of logging frameworks, debugging and decompiling tools
- ability to work under the pressure
- good collaboration skills (work involves direct interaction with other team members, other teams, 1st and 2nd level support, BA's, PM's from different regions across the world like Switzerland, the UK, India).
