Senior .NET/C# Developer

Responsibilites
- An interesting and challenging .NET/C# senior development role in a dynamic and international team of Agile developers working on development of key regulatory and risk applications used in an international investment bank
- Closely liaise with Business Analysts and Change Partners to understand the functional requirements and develop technical solutions
- Analyze, design, develop, test and maintain a variety of web-applications used for Liquidity Management and Reporting using Microsoft Technologies (.NET, C# etc.) and Oracle based DWH.
- Participate in the team’s effort to ensure that the implemented results do meet the stakeholders requirements and perform the necessary IT testing and validation activities.
Requirements
Esential Skills:
- 4+ years’ experience as a C#/ASP.NET technical developer, including 2 years of extensive application development experience preferably in an Agile environment
- Demonstrated abilities for drafting technical designs from functional specifications
- Collaborate with other software developers and business analysts to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web based business applications built on Microsoft technologies (.NET MVC 4.0 or higher, C#, WCF), JQuery, Web services, Java script etc.
- Understanding of database concepts and experience in writing stored procedures, functions etc. in Oracle or SQL server database
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems in collaboration with the IT BA team
- Provide technical guidance to teammates. Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
- Experience working with source control tools (Subversion, Source Safe, etc.)
- Effective communication in English and good interpersonal skills
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
- Perform peer-reviews of solution designs and related code
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies, specially scrum is desirable
- Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline, or comparable industry experience

Project is performed for Treasury IT department of an international investment bank. Project is a multiphase, multi-year initiative with objective of defining interim and longer-term architecture designs for liquidity reporting across process, data and technology.
Project team consists of around 15 .net and ETL developers located in Wroclaw supported by 10 business analysts located worldwide.
The teams work using agile methodologies and uses Scrum as framework
