Project Description:
Our Customer is one of the world's largest investment management companies. Based in Southern California, our client manages close to $2 trillion in assets and is looking for a new partner to participate in a full scale upgrade of their technology.
The client is planning to upgrade his core platforms basing of modern technologies, including:
▶ New functionality/features development
▶ Software Development in Testst
▶ Statistics and metrics collection and reporting
▶ Requirements documentation within the available resource capacity
Responsibilities
- Work with project business and system analysts to clarify the requirements and then implement them
- Internal testing framework development
- QA automation development
- code bugfixing
- Participate in code reviews
- Enforce standards and best practices
- Participate in Agile SDLC
Skills
- Proficient in .NET / C# related stack of technologies, desktop applications and large scale cloud services for extensive calculations
- Hands on experience in WCF, Web API, RESTful, SOAP, IIS
- Understanding of Agile SDLC, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, User Acceptance Testing processes
- Understanding of testing strategies, level of testing, etc.
- Experience with JIRA, GIT, TeamCity
- Very good communication skills
- Advanced spoken and written English
- Be quick learner and have a desire to learn the domain and its business processes
- DB experience
