Senior .Net Developer with Silverlight

Responsibilites
- Produce high quality, documented C# code on project and enhancement initiatives
- Test and report in automated/manual way your code within local/test environments
- Produce technical requirements and write code to develop and support new and existing functionalities
- Programming and delivery of solutions for different work streams executed Wroclaw CoE
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in .NET, with an excellent understanding of the C# language
- Strong Silverlight/WPF experience, at least 1 year practical experience
- Has an in depth understanding of OO principles
- Demonstrates experience of using Design Patterns (advantages and drawbacks)
- UI design skills (creating user friendly interfaces)
- Has experience of developing software for a large Enterprise, including n-tier development
- Has experience of using 3rd party frameworks/components (e.g. Telerik) and can decide when it is appropriate to use these
- Has worked on applications with complex scalability and performance challenges
- Understanding and exposure to Test Driven Development
- Experience of Agile practices and processes (e.g. SCRUM, KANBAN)
As a plus would be considered:
- Knowledge of real-time trading platforms or other critical transaction-based solutions
- Hands-on knowledge of FX or similarly complex investment banking products would be ideal
- RDBMS experience (e.g. SQL Server / Oracle)
- Has used a language other than .NET e.g. Java or scripting language
- Good level of spoken and written English
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment is essential
- Possess excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Have a willingness to learn new skills and do whatever is necessary to "get the job done" attitude
- Good understanding of SCRUM
- Must have attention to details and the ability to work independently and also as part of a group
