Senior .Net Developer

Responsibilites
- Elicits, analyzes, models and validates business requirements, conditions and priorities within application development, which has the scope to develop new rating models (e.g. calculation of Probability of Default, Transaction Risk, Loss Given Default).
- Production and sign-off of standard requirements engineering deliverables (Rule Specifications, Screen Specifications, Data Model specifications) on time and with high quality.
- Considers alternative solutions between the architectural boundaries of overall architecture and domain architecture, as well as the application relevant interfaces to other applications and documents the decisions and corresponding reasons.
- Takes full responsibility for the production and maintenance of the Software Architecture Document (SAD).
- Co-ordinates solution engineering project activities in respect to necessary work products related to the application documentation and project documentation (e.g. effort estimations, detailed work plans).
- Has an in-depth understanding of the C# and .NET technologies.
- Designs and implements solutions taking into consideration economic efficiency, quality, feasibility and alternative solutions within the project activities.
- Supports other team members in resolving business issues that come up during the design, technical implementation and testing phases.
- Defines and conducts reviews of relevant artifacts including code.
- Acts as technical representation (with the knowledge of the current technology standards), advisor and contact point for a project and ensures the relevant know-how is properly shared
- Cooperates closely with Infrastructure team members, the Functional Architect, Central Architecture, Software Engineers, the IT Owner, Requirements Engineers, the Test Manager, Test Engineers and the IT Project Manager.
Supports production operations analyzing and fixing reported issues, inspecting logs and performance figures.
Requirements
Must skills:
- Experience in the writing of requirements engineering specs (Screen Specs, Business Rules, Non-functional specs etc.)
- Experience in the design, and implementation of multi-tier application platforms
- Ability to evaluate different architecture models/patterns
- Good knowledge C# development platforms and .NET framework
- In depth knowledge of multi-layered architectures, design patterns, architecture patterns, integration solutions
- Experience in development, roll-out and maintenance of complex applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to deal effectively with people face to face and over the phone across different cultures and time zones
- Responsive to changing requirements and priorities
- Strong negotiation skills, both with internal as well as external clients as well as soft skills to handle stakeholders with different background (Business Project Managers, User Representatives, Programmers, Offshore resources, Testers etc.)
- Ability to produce and discuss specs and presentations with business subject matter experts
- In-depth knowledge of Visual Studio
- MS SQL and related tools (MS SQL Server Management Studio)
- IIS server 7.0
- Fluent written and spoken English

- Experience working in international projects
Experience working with FACT product of Bureau van Dijk (BvD) in Brussels
