Senior .Net Developer

The Custom Solutions Software Engineer will:

• Develop solutions as specified by the Solutions Engineer and Business Analysts (Specification document) to answer customer requirements.
• Provide development assistance services (including training) to Regional Delivery Center.
• Participate to the pre-sales activity, designing with functional consultant the proposed solution. He/She will evaluate its feasibility, will be responsible to apply the best available technology considering customer wishes and commercial constraints. Finally he/she will evaluate the effort and cost finalising the service proposal.
• Provide development expertise to build solutions with the Regional product portfolio, integrated with the customer systems, operating environment and business practices.
• Provide consulting services to review and assess the feasibility of a specific customized development.
• Maintain the customized developments once delivered to the customer.
• Follow Professional Services procedure allowing the solution to be reused and maintained.
• If needed, participate to onsite missions and working together with customers IT department to secure the solution delivery in the best efficient way.

Mandatory:

• 5+ years of working experience on developing complex solutions
• Proficient in Object Oriented programming concepts.
• Proficient in C#, VB.Net (with proven working experience).
• Proficient in several development environments: .Net, Web Services (ASP, J2EE as a plus), Database (SQL Server), Scripting languages.
• Ability to use a configuration management process to handle changes in a system systematically so that the system maintains its integrity over time: policies, procedures, techniques, and tools that are required to manage, evaluate proposed changes, track the status of changes, and to maintain an inventory of system and support documents as the system changes.
• Understanding of the process related to a software development process, such as requirement, specification & architecture design, programming, testing, documenting, deployment and maintenance.
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in English essential (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Understanding of the GDS is a plus
• Web Services is a plus

Custom Solution Software Engineer is a key role in designing, developing, testing and integrating custom solutions using Points of Sale product (including e-commerce platform), "Robotic Platform" solution and WebServices.

• Internally: Sales organizations, Delivery Manager, Project Manager, Customization engineers
• Externally: End-Customers (Travel Agency, ACOs or Airline)
