Work with business analysts, customers and stakeholders to document and detail requirements
Create solution designs and implement them in the data model, screen designs, code - You will create data mappings and data migrations, interfaces and web services to fulfill these requirements
Work closely with other engineers, developers and architects to integrate with other products
Provide solutions and bug fixes for 2nd and 3rd level incident tickets
Work to project schedules within planned releases, provide effort estimates and pro-active feedback for assigned tasks
Produce documentation to document the design, operations, governance and usage of the system
Contribute to the team spirit of an international team and serve customers all over the world
Essential
Proven experience as a software developer customizing HP Assetmanager and HP ConnectIt or ServiceNow or BMC ITSM Suite or similar products or at least proven experience as developer using Java, .Net or similar
Good written and spoken communication in English language
Ability to efficiently communicate within virtual teams as well as with internal customers
Experience as developer or administrator of DBMS such as Oracle or MS-SQL Server
Desirable
Good practical experience with Windows and/or Unix operating system
Experience of systems management/asset management/configuration management products and concepts (CMDB)
Interest in ITIL processes, ITIL certification will be an additional asset
Perl scripting skills
Experience in analysis of requirements and data modeling
Experience in creating and documenting large data models, preferably using UML tools (Enterprise Architect, Rational Rose etc.)
Knowledge of Web Services creation and consumption
