Responsibilites
- On a daily basis, this individual will work with risk managers, IT managers, and developers in their own team and others. They will work on all levels of the software development lifecycle.
- Function independently and own responsibilities from front to back
- Participate in all phases of software development from initial requirements through final quality assurance and implementation and in analysis of derivative clearing processes and be able to identify risks in regular processes
- Demonstrate relevant business knowledge, especially related to risk management and derivative trading
Requirements
- Candidates MUST possess exceptional communication skills.
Technical knowledge must include C#, Excel VBA, SQL, Open Bloomberg, WPF, WCF, Cruise Control, Autosys, Github and JIRA.

Seeking a candidate with C#.NET/VBA/SQL skills to work as a member of its Global Financing Services Risk IT team. This role is for a risk developer with financial experience, specifically in commodity derivatives. The position is in a fast-paced, exciting, but high-pressured environment.
RiskFlex:
- C# application written over many years to calculate and report on the stress that various business groups clients are currently holding.
- It is the main tool that risk managers use to measure and handle the banks exposure and risk within GFS.
- RiskFlex performs a huge amount of calculation in its batches and utilises large volumes of data not seen elsewhere in GFS.
- Heavy GUI with rich functionality.
- 3 tier architecture, built on Oracle, C# and WPF.
SeCT:
- Latest generation of stress calculator/reporter.
- Builds on the same principles of Riskflex but approaches risk in a scenario consistent stress fashion.
- Built using modern best practices such as test driven development, inversion of control, mvc.
- Pricers are all built internally, exposing developers to internal calculations
- Exposure to NInject, NUnit, ASP.NET MVC
