Senior .NET Developer

Responsibilites
- To plan and carry out development of web service system based on WCF with extremely high expansion plans
- Should be able to provide expert knowledge support of owned tasks (i.e. code developed by candidate)
- Communicate proactively with business on status & progress – directly to London line managers and traders desk
- Able to come up with options to ensure application is stable – own ideas and technologies welcome
- Quality of delivered code is maintained and be able to write code using TDD methods & be able to test it thoroughly before giving the code to QA for testing
- Be able to respond to client requests related to connecting to service or to get data from service
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Strong knowledge of C#, .Net
- Hands on experience on .Net 4.0 or higher versions
- Knowledge of WCF service using C#
- Knowledge of SOA
- Be able to deploy WCF service and maintain it
- Fair Knowledge of database MSSQL (Oracle a plus)
- Strong communication skills
Desirable:
- Knowledge of REST in WCF
- Be aware of security flaws & how to overcome it when a service is hosted on Internet
- Understanding of setting up Load Balancing to share the load of service
- Be able to simulate performance testing of service using tools like SoapUI etc.
- Should be able to maintain quality of code, come up with ideas to improve processes
- Should be able to work independently and within team
- Experience of supporting applications
- Knowledge of Scrum
