Senior Network Engineer

• work in an international team,
• develop network operational concepts,
• perform several operational tasks in the network area,
• troubleshooting and diagnosing systems and provide resolutions to those systems,
• maintaining network infrastructure, configuration, integrity and security updates for switches, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems, routers and firewalls,
• verify / maintain documentation and processes,
• communicate / cooperate on different levels: Internally: monitoring team, solution architects, service managers and externally: different external providers,
• business trips from time to time required.

Relevant Cisco (CCNP preferred) and CheckPoint certification along with strong skills in the following areas:

• Cisco R/S (LAN, WAN, WLAN, DC-Environment),
• Security Engineering,
• DNS / DHCP,
• CheckPoint Firewall,
• documentation and continuous network cleanup (IP life-cycle),
• strong communication skills (fluent English, open minded),
• proven analytic and conceptional abilities (like compiling concepts),independent / autonomous workstyle,
• automate repeating operational tasks by scripting (python, perl).
