Senior Network Engineer
Location: Gliwice

Main tasks:
- work in an international team,
- develop network operational concepts,
- perform several operational tasks in the network area,
- troubleshooting and diagnosing systems and provide resolutions to those systems,
- maintaining network infrastructure, configuration, integrity and security updates for switches, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems, routers and firewalls,
- verify / maintain documentation and processes,
- communicate / cooperate on different levels: Internally: monitoring team, solution architects, service managers and externally: different external providers,
- business trips from time to time required.
Requirements:
Relevant Cisco (CCNP preferred) and CheckPoint certification along with strong skills in the following areas:
- Cisco R/S (LAN, WAN, WLAN, DC-Environment),
- Security Engineering,
- DNS / DHCP,
- CheckPoint Firewall,
- documentation and continuous network cleanup (IP life-cycle),
- strong communication skills (fluent English, open minded),
- proven analytic and conceptional abilities (like compiling concepts),independent / autonomous workstyle,
- automate repeating operational tasks by scripting (python, perl).
