Responsibilites
- Providing technical development for applications owned by Global Treasury and third-level support to business users.
- Closely liaise with business users and Business Analysts to understand the functional requirements and develop technical solutions
- A dynamic and international team of developers working from Wroclaw and New York to support strategic change projects and enhancements for continuous improvements.
- Analyze, design, develop, test and maintain a variety of web-applications using Oracle Business Intelligence, Microsoft Technologies (.NET, C# etc.) and Databases (Oracle/SQL Server)
- Design data acquisition, transformation and load processes from a variety of data sources using ETL tool Informatica required for liquidity and regulatory reporting
Requirements
Essential
- 4+ years' experience as a technical developer, including 2 years of extensive application development experience.
- Strong relational database development experience - especially Oracle (PL/SQL, packages, procedures, tuning) or MS SQL Server.
- Strong Oracle business intelligence (OBIEE) development experience.
- Understanding of database warehousing concepts.
- Demonstrated abilities for drafting detailed technical designs from functional specifications.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimize data processes. Make recommendations for continuous improvement of the data processing environment.
- Ability to perform technical code reviews for self and peers.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in international team of developers and act as a mentor and coach to junior team members.
Desirable
- Experience with database warehousing and ETL tools like Informatica.
- Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies, specially scrum is desirable.
- Experience of working with source control tools (Subversion, Source Safe, etc.).
- Degree from an accredited university, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline, or comparable industry experience.

Global Treasury MI is a portfolio of applications that are built to support our client’s (Investment Bank) treasury business users in asset/liability management and liquidity risk reporting.
The objective of the project is to re-build and enhance the liquidity barometer functionality and reports (from the current legacy application) in a strategic Treasury platform for increased robustness and scalability, and to harmonize designs globally per strategic architecture for Treasury's liquidity management.
