Operations and support engineer.
Primary responsibilities involve:
- Working with developers to provide operations support
- Software installation, configuration adjustments, raising tickets, responding to incidents
- Diagnosing issues
- Creating and modifying scripts
- Working with project managers, business analysts and 1st line support
- Effectively communicating in English via email, IM and telephone
Must have skills:
- SQL, TeamCity, SVN, JIRA, Confluence
- Keen on communicating with people from various locations and cultures
- Good communication skills, verbal and written, including English language
- Skills and persistence in dealing with busy people and complex and distributed software environment
- Prepared to solve problems of organizational nature
Useful additional skills:
- Some software development experience
- Analytical skills
- Investment banking knowledge

GEARS is a risk presentation and management system. It allows traders to assess risk of their actions on the market. GEARS utilizes various sources of data including live market data.
Team consists of about 10 people most of which are in Wrocław plus support in Asia. We use C# .NET 4 with Oracle database. GEARS has WinForms UI and most of code is back-end. Currently most of the project functionality is being maintained and some parts of it are being developed.
