As an Oracle designer / developer you are responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, test and 3rd level support of applications in the area of Records Management IT.
Successful candidates will have:
- Ability to design, build and maintain applications in an Agile environment.
- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills:
- You will be able to communicate and understand requirements from our stakeholders.
- Fluent in English (negotiation level), German preferable
- A proven track record in a similar environment:
- Delivering software solutions to demanding product owners, being part of a large and (possibly) distributed team.
- Modern test driven development techniques
- Incident management and problem analysis in test and production systems.
- A track record of performance tuning Oracle databases
We recruit 'generalizing specialists' who are experts in the core technologies and users of, or would like to learn, the other technologies
Core:
- SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
- Toad and Power Designer
- UNIX (Linux or Solaris)
- Formal Data modelling
Other Technologies:
- Perl
- Job Control systems (JCS)
- Java (JEE or JSE)
- Understanding of Virtualization
- XML/XSL/XSD
- Liquibase or Flyway
The current technology stack comprises z/OS, IBM CMOD, Opentext, Oracle, SAMFS, DB2, TSM, NETAPPS SNAPLOCK and various in-house created technologies.
Our team methodology will include Scrum / Agile and traditional Iterative / Waterfall models. The project teams consist of IT project managers, business analysts, developers and testers. Business is represented by various business units and this includes all divisions of our bank.
