Design and development of core application modules (PL/SQL, ETL processes)
Maintaining project technical infrastructure (continuous integration, automated deployment)
Data modelling, logical and physical database design
Task decomposition and estimation
Bug fixing, test writing
Skills required:
Oracle, SQL and PL/SQL experience & proficiency (4+ years)
Experience with data modelling
Experience with performance tuning and monitoring, query optimization, stress testing
Good English
A big plus would be:
Experience in Agile/SCRUM software development process
Experience with DWH
Experience with BI and ETL tools
Experience with Liquibase or similar tools
Experience with Java
Application developed in project is a strategic IT tool created to support the generation of reports, which have to be provided on a regular basis to comply with the requirements of Regulatory Agencies (e.g. FED, FSMA). It is interconnected with multiple (15+) sub-domains in bank, which are feeding the application with data using various protocols. Data is managed in the application and is then used for report generation. Report generation is wrapped in standardized workflows. Depending on the users role within this process, the user have access to different actions in the tool.
Our client is a specialized domain in the bank which uses its expertise in risk management and provides other units and their financial clients with bespoke solutions to implement best practice risk management methodologies, structures, processes and systems, and deliver effective asset servicing solutions. We have a global project team in locations such as Poland, Ukraine, India, UK, Germany, and US.
