As Product Owner, you need to have a firm grasp on the value drivers of your product, and a keen sense of how to use agile practices to maximize that value. In this role, you will work across big data, processing pipelines, APIs, and modelling to deliver next-gen analytics products. You'll be part of a ground-breaking R&D team of product professionals, data scientists, and engineers who together will discover, build, innovate and bring to market best-in-class Big Data capabilities.
● Identify customer needs for Big Data and Analytics at scale and capture these in the form of user stories
● Derive themes, create epics, maintain and continuously groom the product backlog with core team members and stakeholders
● Define product strategy, target outcomes, priorities, and delivery roadmap
● Define MVP, examine trade-offs, manage risks, and balance business needs versus technical constraints
● Define the scope and scale of the product offering including product, training and associated services
● Assist in partner identification, discovery, diligence, negotiation, and relationship management
● Ensure upstream work in core projects (CRM, Sales, Marketing) is aligned with product goals and big data strategies
● Be a visible advocate of products internally and externally
● BA or BS degree, with a preference for a technical major or equivalent experience
● 5 years of product management experience with data analytics products or services
● Deep understanding of Data analytics, BI reporting, querying and ETL software and tools
● Inception-to-ship experience bringing enterprise-class product to market
● Capacity to handle multiple competing objectives while still delivering (prioritize!)
● Excellent logical thinking and corresponding communication skills (speaking, writing, presenting, white boarding, etc.)
● Desire and ability to discover and creatively leverage resources across organizations
● Experience with R&D agile methodologies
● Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth, multi-cultural, results oriented, team environment
