Senior Project Manager

Responsibilites
- Closely interacting with client in order to define scope, terms and deliverable, (via reasonable amount of business trips as well).
- Planning, monitoring, facilitating and reporting on daily team work.
- Clear understanding of technical aspects of functionality in progress, its meaning to client's business, possible interdependences with 3rd-party applications.
- Motivate the team to accomplish sprint\release\project goals.
- Regular and clear reporting to both Luxoft and Client's stakeholders.
- Set up and maintenance of strong and trustful relationship with client and mature development process within the team.
- Establish and adapt on permanent basis effective SW development process, considering internal and external needs and environment.
- Risk management.
- People management activities - performance review, feedback sessions, PDP plan creation.
- Involvement into recruitment process.
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Project\Service management experience in IT Outsource using different approaches and practices
- Experience in working with small to medium size teams with focus on result and direct interaction with the the Client
- Good understanding of different SW development methodologies
- people management skills - ability to negotiate people needs, mentoring, resolve conflicts, motivate and build successful teams
- Leadership skills, ability to work without prodding and chasing
- Fluent English
- Ability to withstand stress
Desirable:
- Java\Oracle background (coding skills would be an advantage).
- Experience in core/investment banking.
- Proved records in software development field, including experience in a position of developer, Team\Tech Lead.
