The role have 4 main areas of responsibilities:
Build - Successful candidate will be expected to build automation solutions for the need of in-house Cyberscurity Threat detection and response teams. The solution built will include both bespoke code, 3rd party supplied products and standard IT infrastructure.
Deploy - Successful candidate will be expected to deploy for production all solutions built by the team.
Maintain - Successful candidate will be involved in the daily maintenance of the systems build and deployed by the team
Troubleshoot - Successful candidate will be involved in troubleshooting operational incidents and problems in systems build and deployed by the team
The role provides opportunity to enter the world of cybersecurity from the world of python programming or systems maintenance in seamless fashion. The role is in newly created team which gives the opportunity to grow. The nature of the team will push towards learning and development of ones abilities.
Fast moving area of cybersecurity requires unique skillset, and unique automation. The role is in the cybersecurity area of the Bank and will require successful candidates to build deploy and maintain systems providing services for effective incident detection, incident response, incident investigation and reporting. During the course of duties successful candidate will not only utilize software development and system maintenance skills but also will be exposed to the process of defending multinational institution from cyber threats in complex regulatory environment.
