Senior QA Automation Engineer/Developer in QA

We are looking for a talented Senior QA Automation/Developer in QA to join Avid’s Platform Engineering Team for a full time position. You will join the team working on the Advanced Media Search technologies powering the Avid MC|UX product.
You will become part of an excellent team of motivated engineers, software QA, and product managers. You will be working in a highly efficient and creative agile/scrum environment.

Main requirements
- 5-10 Years of practical experience in a QA Automation or Developer role.
- Ability to code in Node.js (JavaScript)
- User-level experience with Linux (CentOS, Red Hat)
- HTTP experience
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Would be nice to have
- Ability to develop software in C++, C#, Java
- Understanding of full software lifecycle application environments using Agile/Scrum development processes
- Test framework development experience
- Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure experience
- Testplan development, specifically for micro and distributed services
- Understanding of build/deployment automation and continuous integration
- Experience with Jenkins a plus
