- Defining & tracking the process of the testing in the project
- Development of automated tests
- All types of quality assurance: smoke, regression, integration testing
- Ensuring and taking responsibility of product delivery & releases quality
- Providing full life-cycle capability for projects accountable for - including interacting with traders, collaborating with developers and QA, and training and providing point of escalation for app support staff
- System ownership of the QA environment
- Proven relevant commercial experience in system, integration, regression, performance, stress, functionality, upgrade and installation testing & test automation
- Experience in one of FitNesse/JBehave/Cucumber
- Experience in GUI test automation
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux shell scripting
- Intermediate SQL level
- Expected to be able to liaise with developers and assess their test automated scripts
- Familiar with standard tools such as Jira or Quality Center
- Comfortable in working in a fast paced Agile environment

The software that we develop is a new project that will be used on daily basis by traders operating on fixed income instruments. We provide traders with aggregated view on the results of risk analysis conducted by number of existing bank systems. We extract risk analysis data from multiple sources (web services, JMS, db, files), transform it and perform initial aggregation, eventually we route it to ION Arc - finance data server that is capable of performing large scale data aggregation and presentation via web interface. Project also includes web modules responsible for monitoring existing data feeds. One of new initiatives is new web user interface for finance users to enter adjustments into aggregated risk data.
Java and web development is driven from Krakow - we drive the design and introduce new technologies. We cooperate with London, NY and Singapore offices.
The project is run using Scrum, we do TDD and BDD. We rely on Continuous Integration. We are developing using SOLID design and Clean Code principles. We are moving towards setting up Continuous Delivery on production environment.
