- Working as a part of global and diversified team to test changes to the application
- Create test plans and design test cases based on requirements / user stories provided by the BA and / or development team
- Run tests on the application using UIs, spreadsheets and automated test tools
- Perform initial analysis of failed tests
- Communicate the results of tests and analysis back to the project team
- Maintain and update test cases based on continuous feedback
- Capture and report any defects throughout test execution
- Work on the test automation (C#/Java/ QTP/Selenium - depending on project specifics)
Essential:
- Knowledge of C# and Java coding is a must (understanding and developing the code - preferably testing tools / test automation frameworks)
- Quality Assurance & Testing background
- Deep knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
- Great analytical and problem solving skills
- SQL knowledge
- Continuous Integration knowledge - server-side & configuration (TeamCity/Jenkins/Hudson)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban
- Proactive, ambitious and motivated
- Excellent team player
Desirable:
- Experience of using JIRA or Quality Centre (or equivalent tools)
- ISTQB Foundation certification
- Microsoft C# certification (MCSD/MCAD or Exam 70-483)

The project started with 46 separate systems, which resulted in inconsistencies of risk data and prevented us from getting an accurate overall view of our risk. Meanwhile, the amount of risk-related data today is growing exponentially. Regulatory changes require increasingly complex calculations and demand more transparency than ever before. These are "big data" problems that are not going away.
The project requires close cooperation with BA/Dev/PM stakeholders in order to understand the existing functionality, provide relevant test coverage of the migrated and target components and ensure the maintained front-2-back functionally across all involved IT systems. Moreover, in order to ensure the required high level of quality, it is necessary to extend existing / develop new automated tests and test automation tools to be used as a part of Continuous Integration framework.
