- Be responsible for the quality of delivered functionality:
o keep track of regression testing (Bamboo plans)
o prepare the acceptance tests before the development starts (ATDD methodology)
o communicate with BA team (located in Krakow) and prepare the End-to-end tests
- Be responsible for the planning and timelines:
o the functionality has to be tested on component and End-to-end levels before the UAT
o distribute the tasks between internal and client's QA specialists to reach the timelines
o review the tests written by client's QA team
o provide direction, strategy and hands-on assistance to other members of the team
- Be responsible for the UAT testing support:
o communicate with test-managers on the required test-data and timelines
o identify the root cause of the reported bug and prepare Fitnesse test to replicate it
o help developers to understand the issue
Must have:
- Strong practical knowledge in software testing and test-case design (at least 4 years)
- Strong practical knowledge in planning QA activities (at least 1 year)
- Practical experience with databases: SQL, PL/SQL
- Practical experience with Excel (pivot tables, vlookup functions, complex scenarios design)
- Strong analytical thinking: analyze requirements and find high-risk areas, ability to choose '20% of tests which cover 80% of functionality', review tests written by other QAs
- Proactivity: willing to learn, take responsibility and seek ways of constant improvement
- Easily adapting to changing environment and challenging tasks
- Fluent English to communicate in distributed team
Nice to have:
- Be familiar with the automated acceptance testing tools - Fitnesse, Cucumber, Selenium (or read before interview)
- Practical experience with viewing logs on Unix-based systems
- Development experience (Java, C#, C), understanding of OOP principles
- Financial experience (preferably Investment Banking)

The team delivers a consolidated reporting tool that produces rich and cross-divisional data sets for reporting purposes on a daily basis.
