Senior Quality and Technology Engineer

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
You join a team of highly skilled quality engineers, system quality managers and experienced digital six sigma experts who are responsible for the quality of the very core functionality of Motorola Solutions' mission critical communication systems. Based in the Krakow office, you will be working with colleagues, suppliers and customers across the globe. You are customer focused and open-minded, share ideas and proactively connect with people and teams relevant for creating strong quality- and customer-oriented solutions. You appreciate the opportunity of travelling to other Motorola sites and customer locations to ensure common ground and optimum solutions, and you have the flexibility required to work with people in different time zones.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
You have the potential and ambition to be one of the best quality engineers and a strong desire to support the development of market leading products to the most demanding users in the world.These are the skills we are looking for:
● Master/bachelor degree in software engineering/ computer science.
● Work experienced in software programming, testing or similar
● Work experienced in software programming, testing or similar
● Experience in ISO9001, CMM or CMMi
● Knowledge of QMS and process development
● Experience with training others in quality and process related disciplines
● Excellent communication and self management skills
● Ability to provide sound judgment in quality related matters
● Experience with customers and 3rd party quality management
● Experience with Digital Six Sigma, DMAIC or similar improvement methods
● Innovative, results and action oriented.
● Cross-cultural understanding.
● Fluent in spoken and written EnglishOur expectationsWe expect that our staff of senior quality Engineers to:
● Perform a variety of engineering quality tasks such as guidance on project planning and tailoring and participate in the development of program and project standards and processes
● Partner with project- and program leaders to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and the quality of work products
● Develop improved ways to monitor project and product performance
● Conduct system, process, and project audits in accordance with an organization-wide audit program
● Maintain and administer the organizational metrics program.
● Analyze data and submit reports to support data driven decisions
● Identify, evaluate, and implement quality related technologies, methods and tools.
