Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilites
- Cooperate with QA Manager and QA Lead in elaboration, introduction and facilitation of business requirements
- Cooperation with business analysts, development leads and project managers to receive and provide all required information to satisfy quality of delivered products
- Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements to ensure all requirements are tested
- Identify areas for test improvement through analysis, experience and use of metrics
- Elaboration of system requirements gathering
- Participation in documentation review and preparation
- Requirements analysis and Test Cases development
- Help with reporting on different level, suited to audience, frequency and purpose
- Communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner
- Raise defects/blockers to tracking tools and monitor their statuses
- Participate in developing and maintaining good working relationships with peers in product development and client services
- Mentor less experienced QA engineers
Requirements
Mandatory:
- Proven experience to work as QA analyst(4+ Years). Preferably with experience in conducting Regression and UAT phases of testing
- English - fluent verbal and written communications with English speaking customers
- Manual testing experience on large distributed systems including rich client (not pure web based applications) and back-end testing, e.g. feeds, processes etc.
- Good knowledge of various delivery models and understanding of their benefits and applicability
- Good experience in requirements gathering and clarification on both technical and business (domain) levels
- Good experience in test design. Ability to prioritize test cases based on risk analysis
- Technical skills: Unix, XML, SQL
- Perfect communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable in the face of changing priorities or circumstances
- Drives for results
- Team Player
Is a Plus:
- Experience in Credit Risk, CCAR, BCBS239, IFRS9, similar regulatory changes
- Copes well under pressure and with uncertainty. Proactive and quick learner
- Confident, articulate, enthusiastic and able to operate independently, self-reliance (e.g. work without pushing, etc.)
- UML experience
