Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilites
Key Responsibilities
- Cooperation with BA, PM and Dev team
- Test planning, test execution and reporting
- Building and maintaining Test Automation frameworks
- Use bug tracking tools (ALM, Jira) to report defects, analysis of test results
- Improving Test Coverage, reviewing and filling gaps in existing processes
- Collaborate closely with Development to execute testing earlier in the Software Development lifecycle (Dev/SIT/UAT)
- Leveraging existing Development Unit Testing tools and expand coverage through deployment into SIT/UAT
- Early test design and planning in parallel with development.
Requirements
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Quality Assurance & Testing background
- Deep knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle
- Management skills of test cycle / being a contact person of the particular test cycle, QA activities, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
- Great analytical and problem solving skills
- Self-reliance and responsibility for assigned tasks
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban
- Proactive, ambitious and motivated
- Excellent team player
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, TDD
- Understanding on Database technologies like Oracle, Sybase and SQL Database
- Experience of using JIRA or Quality Centre/ALM (or equivalent tools)
- Bank domain knowledge
- ISTQB certification
