Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilites
- Working as a part of global and diversified team to test changes to the application
- Create test plans based on requirements provided by the development team
- Run tests on the application using UIs and spreadsheets
- Perform initial analysis of failed tests
- Communicate the results of tests and analysis back to the development team
- Maintain and update tests based on continuous feedback
- Capture and report any defects throughout test execution
Requirements
Essential:
- Quality Assurance & Testing background
- Deep knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge of Financial Products, preferrably in Equities
- Testing experience in the financial industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
- Great analytical and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum
- Experience of using JIRA or Quality Centre (ALM)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in QA / Testing
We offer
We provide global critical application for managing counterparty internal ratings & limits and breaches, without which the Bank would not be able to set and subsequently monitor against appropriate credit limits. The application has over 2,500 users globally and includes additional functions to manage trade approvals, excess approvals and pre-trade approval requests.
The team is currently working on several large projects, including refactoring core modules of the application, introducing new regional approvals (CH, US) and delivering other significant regulatory requirements.
