Responsibilities:
In General:
- Lead the technical and functional testing team for TECH and Global Treasury MI in Wroclaw
- Create test plans and design test cases
- Run functional tests on the application on all test levels
- Define regression testing and test data preparation to make our checkouts easier for reports in UAT/SIT
- Capture and report any defects throughout test execution
- Perform initial analysis of failed tests
- Maintain and update tests based on continuous feedback
- Provide the results of tests and analysis back to the SCRUM teams (developers, BA, product owner)
- Maintain test data & test environments
Create, deploy and improve Quality Assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle
Essential:
- Over 4 years of Quality Assurance and Testing professional experience
- Good knowledge of software design lifecycle and testing methodologies
- ISTQB certification
- Experience in using JIRA and HP Quality Centre / ALM (or equivalent tools)
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience of database testing
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Team leading experience
- Flexibility & team-player attitude
- Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to take initiative and responsibility
- Good organization of work & attention to details
- Customer focus & orientation towards results
Desirable:
- MSc or BSc degree in IT
- Database knowledge / ability to write queries (SQL / Oracle)
- Unix experience / Good working knowledge of UNIX scripting
- Knowledge of Agile / Scrum / Kanban methodology
- Development background with basic Java and Oracle understanding
We are tasked with developing software for Treasury and supporting all Treasury applications globally. Both teams, TECH and MI, work in international Scrum teams cooperating with IT in Zurich and New York and business users in different locations.
TECH:
Projects related to Treasury: support the data sourcing strategy, data convergence strategy and Treasury specific, common calculations and enrichments for different financial products and financial data. The project runs on Oracle 11g in a Unix/Linux environment, and the ETL routines are written using Informatica, PL/SQL and Java.
Our portfolio of applications is built to support the treasury business users in asset/liability management, liquidity reporting and monitoring processes, and to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations. Used technologies: Oracle, OBIEE, .Net.
