- Working as a part of global and diversified team to test changes to the application
- Create test plans and design test cases based on requirements / user stories provided by the BA and / or development team
- Run tests on the application using UIs, spreadsheets and automated test tools
- Perform initial analysis of failed tests
- Communicate the results of tests and analysis back to the project team
- Maintain and update test cases based on continuous feedback
- Capture and report any defects throughout test execution
- Work on the test automation (C#/Java/ QTP/Selenium
Must have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in performance testing / Java development area is a must.
- Quality Assurance & Testing background
- Deep knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
- Great analytical and problem solving skills
- 3+ years of experience in Java development, JVM tuning and GC
- 3+ years of experience in Load & Performance testing especially with HP LoadRunner
- 3+ years of experience in Linux/Unix command line & at least 1 scripting language (i.e. bash, Perl, Python, ...)
- 3+ years of experience in monitoring tools (e.g. Geneos, Introscope, AppDynamics, Introscope, Unix & Windows monitoring) and test execution analysis
Nice to have:
- Symphony grid & big clusters experience would be appreciated
- Banking IB jargon knowhow would be appreciated (Trading, Market, ...)
- ISTQB certification
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
The project use a wide spectrum of technologies in the development of business solutions including languages such as Java, C++, C#, .Net; database technologies such as Oracle, Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server, and operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, UNIX and LINUX. There are positions for a wide variety of skill sets from technical expertise in the technologies mentioned above, to Business Analysis positions requiring excellent written communication skills and fundamental business understanding.
