Project use a wide spectrum of technologies in the development of business solutions including languages such as Java, C++, C#, .Net; database technologies such as Oracle, Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server, and operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, UNIX and LINUX. There are positions in the project for a wide variety of skill sets from technical expertise in the technologies mentioned above, to Business Analysis positions requiring excellent written communication skills and fundamental business understanding.

As the applications in scope are complex, testing defects are not necessarily an indication of a problem with the system. Therefore when defects are discovered during testing, the candidate will be able to perform an analysis to determine the appropriate cause of action before handing over to the development team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the QA team 5-6 team members.
- Responsibility for ensuring on time test execution and test delivery in collaboration with the onsite and off-shore partners.
- Working closely with Project, Dev and QA team.
- Conduct the meetings with the development team to provide support feedback to enhance application stability.
- Requirement Analysis, Test Case, Test Plan Documentation with Execution and Defect Reporting & Analysis.
- Creating test approach, test strategy and test plans, test cases.
- Candidate will be part of an international team within Global Testing Services cross region
- Provide Single Point Of Contact to testing, Dev and Support team.
- Coordinate and provide the first level support to PTG prod Support team. Work closely with Prod support team for all releases.
- Publish the Daily, Weekly Status Report using GTS Dashborad for onsite/offshore coordinators.
- Ensure key SLAs / KPIs are proactively monitored and mitigating actions are implemented.
Essential:
- Over 4 years of Quality Assurance and Testing professional experience
- Deep knowledge of SW Development Lifecycle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
- Database knowledge / ability to write queries (SQL / Oracle)
- Great analytical, problem solving and quick decision making skills
- Proactive and self-motivated
- Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.
- Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, TDD
Desired :
- Investment Banking exposure
- MSc or BSc degree in IT
- Linux / Unix experience
- Coding experience / knowledge in Java or .NET
- ISTQB certification
- Experience in using JIRA and HP Quality Centre / ALM (or equivalent tools)
Credit QA
understanding of the application architecture
understanding of the purpose of the application and how it fits into the global business
Candidate will be part of a big global team responsible for Quality Assurance for all the Credit Trading Applications.
Define and review and create test plans and specifications, full test execution and reporting, Defect identification, investigation, testing that the functionality of the trading applications.
Conduct test artefact reviews with project stakeholders and ensure milestones are achieved within pre agreed timeframes.
