Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilites
- Analyzing client’s requirements
- Participation in Test Plans preparation
- Preparing and executing test suites, test cases, defect tracking
- Preparing suggestions concerning improvement of applications quality
- Communication with Test Lead, participation in review meetings within the Team
- Automating manual QA using well-proven approaches and frameworks
Requirements
Must have:
- At least 4 years' experience in QA automation and testing
- At least 2 years of experience in scripting and administration Unix-like environments
- Experience in executing automated scripts with Selenium or other open source automation tools
- At least 1.5-2 years in any of: JS, Java, .Net, Python, Perl, Bash
- Upper-intermediate written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with requirements analysis, test case identification, test script creation and execution, tracking of defects and reporting of results
- Ability to prepare test plans that consist of scope, strategy, approach and execution
- Solid understanding & practical experience of Agile SDLC process with particular emphasis on pipeline automation
- Understanding of software quality assurance tools and best practices
- Confident knowledge of SQL
- Experience with performance/load testing
Nice to have:
Experience with:
- GNU binutils (nm, objdump, strings, strip)
- POSIX/Perl regular expression syntax
- Continuous Integration systems and practices
- Proficiency in at least one modern IDE or editor (Qt Creator, emacs, VIM or others)
- Understanding of process of software licensing
- Mastery of dynamic allocation for gigabytes of data
