Senior/Regular Java Developer

• Mastering complex business domains and new technologies
• Designing and developing server-side components of distributed systems

You are a software engineer with expertise across the Java platform, including:

• Data structures and algorithms
• Collections
• Multithreading and concurrency utilities
• IO/NIO and Sockets
• Memory management and garbage collection
• Open-source libraries, frameworks and tooling

You have applied experience and successful deliverable involving:

• Internet architecture and REST API design
• Security controls and encryption technologies
• Agile development practices
• Distributed Version Control Systems
• Build, test and deployment automation
• Real-time data streaming and messaging systems
• Relational and NoSQL databases
• Linux and Windows operating systems
• Shell scripting

It would be beneficial for you to also have:

• Fluency with additional programming languages (JavaScript, Python, Ruby, etc.)
• Open-source code visible in a GitHub profile
• Technical writing or presentations published on the internet
• Experience working closely with product managers, front-end developers and quality analysts

You must be:

• Highly motivated

We are looking to automate aspects of our software release and deployment process. In order to do this we are looking for an engineer that meets the following requirements.

The successful candidate will join the team to develop client-facing applications and distributed systems using the Java platform.
