Senior SAP Developer (Business Objects)

Responsibilites
Working directly with the end-user or project community to assist in requirement definition relative to a Business Objects reporting solution
- Developing innovative solutions and demonstrating capabilities of the Business Objects toolset
- Build Business Objects Universes suitable to resolve reporting requirements
- Building dashboards and Explorer views
- Working on migration projects from BOXI 3.1 to BI4
Requirements
Knowledge and skills required:
- Experience of Web Intelligence report writing in BO 3.1 and BI4.1
- Experience of the Business Objects Lumira .
- Universe Development in Designer and Knowledge of BO IDT
- Ability to communicate with customer to ascertain requirements and resolve accordingly
- Experience of Business Objects Explorer
- Experience of Designer Studio/Dashboards
- Migration experience between BOXI 3.1 to BI4
- Good communication skills
- Ability to resolve customer requirements into reporting solutions
- Ability to document requirements for project documentation
Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to work directly with end user customers to ascertain and deliver reporting requirements
- Sufficient SQL knowledge in Oracle/Teradata/SQLServer to write/understand SQL queries
- Use of SQL queries to recommend performance tuning options to improve performance
- Experience in TOAD
