A senior engineer should have production Kubernetes experience and a solid development background to help engineer reliable and scalable infrastructure for a project to run container workloads.
- Help design, built and operate a client’s wide container platform built around Kubernetes.
- Put CI/CD at the heart of delivery and have demonstrable experience in delivering multiple infrastructure updates daily into production.
- Work collaboratively with other teams inside Tech Ops and Cloud Hosting Services to create reliable and resilient systems.
- 2+ years supporting production Kubernetes on Docker environments at scale.
- Be an hands-on coder who has a proven track-record of delivering high- quality, test-driven code, preferably with Python.
- Have used Terraform and Helm to automate environment and software delivery.
- Extensive knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Good understanding of container security.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash.
- Good working knowledge of traditional networking and overlay networks - able to troubleshoot network issues, interpret packet captures and diagnose connectivity issues.
- Good knowledge of English language (min. B2).
