IBM BTO BCS in Cracow is one of the leading international companies providing business process support services. In our center we are providing accounting and financial services to foreign customers in three core processes: Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.
Senior Software / Application Developer (Java or C#, Python)
As Senior Developer, you will be a key part of a team that works on developing, maintaining and solving problems in IBM GPS internal systems.

Main duties:
- designing new solutions (software architecture, business functionalities)
- improving application design, introducing own concepts to improve code quality and system performance
- working on functional specifications (requirements) together with first / second line support teams.
- working on interfaces to third party systems (requirements, clarifications, development and support)
- developing new code (new functionalities)
- fixing bugs in code
- acquiring new knowledge and share it among team members
- helping second support line in solving problems on production / test systems
- writing documentation of code
- participating in software testing activities
Skills required:
- Software architecture knowledge (CQRS, MVC)
- C# or Java knowledge
- Relational database knowledge (DB2)
- NoSQL database knowledge (MongoDB)
- Good English, verbal as well as written
- Microservice architecture knowledge
- Experience using container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
One of the following will be an asset:
- JavaScript, Angular 2+ knowledge
- Python / Panda knowledge
- SAP knowledge / experience with SAP development
