Responsibilites
- Govern and implement automated environment and release management solution for one of back office application.
- Automate the creation of Subversion branches, working copies, updates, commits, merges & tags.
- Automate the building of components in a Continuous Integration environment using Team City.
- Integrate the use of Unit tests into the automated Continuous Integration build.
- Integrate the use of test Code Coverage tools into the automated Continuous Integration build.
- Integrate the use of test Static Analysis tools into the automated Continuous Integration build.
- Automate the Packaging\Integration of components into Systems.
- Automate the version stamping, checksum creation and certification of the builds.
- Automate the version management & storage of the deployable components & Systems
in Artifactory.
- Automate the Deployment & calling\execution of tests of the Systems using Nolio.
- Automate the tracking, checking & reporting of the status of Systems & Environments using Jira.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant IT experience.
- Excellent communication, Presentation & stakeholder management skill.
- Hands on experience on environment management
- Hands on experience in scripting language like shell , perl etc
- Hands on experience in tools like TeamCity, SVN
- Hands on experience in Linux platform and database technology (Oracle, Sybase)
- Own release plans, non-prod and production readiness checklists, risk contingency plans, and related release documentation, as well as key release meetings.
- Implement and govern end-to-end release and environment management processes with key stakeholders like business and IT teams
- Drive the development and execution of release plans by working with project teams
- Review Release Acceptance checklists by working closely with IT and business teams
- Represent Release Management at the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meeting and maintain the Release Calendar.
- Good knowledge of end-to-end IT operations, infrastructure landscape
- Strong communication skills in both technical and business areas
