Do you have the ability to figure out how technologies work from a running product? Can you develop critical code and engineer it into a full service. We need a software engineer with a job scheduling background. This role will drive our conversion from our legacy job scheduling environment to our global strategic service. Working with that service will require experience with job scheduling tools, an application development background and a infrastructure skill set.
You are:
- A driven, self-motivated engineer that will be capable of understanding multiple use cases for the usage of job scheduling.
- Capable of operating in a transforming environment
- Comfortable operating between multiple technical concepts without being expert in all of them
- Have a clear understanding of the criticality of job scheduling to the application environment
You have:
- University degree for business or computer science
- Have solid experience in product technoologies for Job Scheduling(Control-M, Autosys) and their impact to the delivery of application processing.
- Collaboration skills to close gaps between business issues and technical issues
- Fundamental understanding of self service as it applies to job scheduling.
- A background in jobscheduling of 5+ years.
- An understanding of SDLC process
