Senior Sybase Transact SQL Developer

Responsibilites
Responsibilities:
- Development of the Sybase Transact SQL code application code
- Development and maintenance of the complex Sybase data structures
- Support of the middleware development teams
- Data alignment, migrations and transformations
- Automation of the routine daily activities, utilizing Unix shell scripts
- Production incidents investigation and resolution
Requirements
Required:
- Strong Sybase Transact SQL programming experience, 3+ years
- Strong experience in the performance tuning and optimization
- Good understanding of relational database theory, data modeling and data management concepts
- Experience of working with large complex databases
- Experience of working in the Lean/Agile environment
- English: upper-intermediate
Nice to have:
- Good understanding of the Sybase specific features
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux, experience in writing Unix scripts (shell)

One of the applications is developed utilizing Sybase, with very complex database structures and considerable amount of Sybase Transact SQL code. We are looking for an experienced Sybase Transact SQL developer who would be able to support development of the new features in the application, as well as maintain the existing codebase
