HPB is the marketing name for the private banking business conducted by the principal private banking subsidiaries of the our banking Group
Provide Support for Global private banking applications and new initiatives going live and ensure appropriate level of service quality is maintained overall in Production. This also includes incident management, problem resolution, Change support during pre-production and production phases.
Understand and apply standards, best practices to ensure compliance and consistently maintain quality in deliverables.
Comply with the processes in place and ensure the agreed service levels are met with the expected level of quality
Review the processes consistently to implement improvement plans, and to support organization objectives for efficiency.
Automate tasks to decrease the efforts spent on the regular support activities.
Ensure high availability of services.
Ability to do root cause analysis and provide optimum solutions.
Minimum 4-5 years of development / support experience on banking platforms.
Mandatory technical skills - PL-SQL, UNIX, Shell scripting knowledge, high level middleware application server knowledge, Java understanding
Good Analysis, problem solving abilities.
Experience on banking functional domain - Any banking stream - Retail, Private, Commercial or markets etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Good understanding on Application Support processes - ITIL foundation would be added advantage.
Good understanding of service management practices, ITSA - NFRs would be plus.
Understanding of batch management and experience to manage/support batches.
Understand business, environments, shared services to prioritize incidents
Be aware of the ongoing infrastructure issues and vigilant to avoid / minimize downtime of services
Timely reporting, creation of reports
Work with regions for MIRs and SIPs
Identify operational risks and contribute to mitigate the same.
Participate in crisis calls as applicable following the regional/Global etiquette
Proactively identify problem situations, review the problems, engage associates to plan for investigation, and resolution
Own the resolution of problems in hand, demonstrate analytical and problem management skills to drive the resolution and prevent recurrence.
Escalate issues as appropriate and timely
