Project Description:

iSIR (intuitive Standard Investment Reporting) is the new key Application for the bank's “Investment Reporting” It serves ad hoc reporting for high net individuals as well as periodical and regulatory reporting for all bank clients. The application therefore needs a high flexibility in terms of scalability and opportunities to individualize reports. Reporting includes customized reports, flexible consolidations, classifications and benchmark comparisons. The reports can be produced periodically or on demand.”

iSIR is both an internal bank application being used by advanced users, where we offer more sophisticated functionalities and configuration options, but also by end clients where we offer basic functionalities. For the internal usage, the application is written with a specific Angular GUI. This role is to further develop this GUI. The external part is mainly written with MicroServices which can be used by the bank Online Banking tool.

All report could be configured providing charts, tables, sorting, top/bottom figures fully customized and adopted to every single client needs. Such charts are built by using High-chart Library.

The iSIR Backend development as well as the product owner are located in Zurich while the front GUI development is planned with 2-3 Developers in Wroclaw. A direct cooperation with Product Owner in ZH on planning, grooming, demo sessions including ad hoc clarifications will be established and maintained. People will work integrated into a larger team of other developers in Wroclaw where also a team lead is taking care for all members.

Team: The iSIR team is a very specialized reporting team. There are 11 backend developers (8 in Switzerland, 3 in Poland), 3 testers, one Scrum Master and one Product Owner. The team members are located in Zurich and Wroclaw.

There is a very close collaboration over both locations and SCRUM methodology is followed.

Technologies: Angular, Karma, Jasmine, HTML5, Javascript, CSS, SCSS.

Opportunities: The candidate needs to be experienced enough in Angular to take over full responsibility for the UI delivery in this project. There is a need for at least two year intensive experience in Angular and 4 year intensive experience in UI development. The candidate will be the only UI developer in the team and thus needs to be fully capable of getting a complete overview over even complicated code so that enhancements and changes will be possible (full responsibility for the UI code).

Responsibilities
  • Writing code in Angular 5.0 or higher as target framework.
  • Working on BI2 portal within an agile project team you will participate in all aspects of delivering software projects.
  • Participating in the development, with close cooperation of backend developers and testers.
Skills

4+ years of experience in FrontEnd development 2+ years in total in Angular

Experience with UI unit testing (Karma, Jasmine)

Expert knowledge of HTML5 / JavaScript, CSS, SCSS

B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or similar

Strong OOP, design and architecture skills.

Passion for delivering quality software using best practices in chosen technology

Problem solver, team player, great communication skills

Good verbal and written English skills (team is mainly Wroclaw, but project language is EN)

Familiarity with Scrum
