The responsibilities for the UI Developer will be to develop and maintain the UI architecture of large enterprise systems used by banks and financial institutions around the world. The successful candidate will have mastered cross browser issues long ago and will now be focused on forward thinking, modern, and standards based techniques.
- 4+ years of professional experience in web development
- A strong proponent of clean, valid, maintainable, and semantically correct HTML/CSS, including
HTML5/CSS3
- In-depth knowledge of the capabilities of IE8+, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome
- Solid knowledge of DOM manipulation
- Strong JavaScript skills along with experience with JavaScript libraries
- Working knowledge of web accessibility guidelines
- Experience working with a development team
- Experience with Backbone is a plus
- Basic Adobe CS skills
- Solid communication skills
We are seeking an UI Developer to develop, enhance and support our client's web and mobile-based commercial banking applications. The UI Developer will work on a cross-functional project / release team that will typically include: product management, development and QA, configuration management, and technical support. The developer will interact with quality assurance personnel on defect resolution and user-acceptance testing activities. They will be an active member of the development community, promoting best practices and contributing to re-use of functionality
