Senior Windows Engineer
Miejsce pracy: Warszawa
Job Description:
- Delivering cost effective solutions by consolidating applications
- Developing scripts to be used for support of Windows platform (system automations, configuration management, and monitoring of platform)
- Respond to emergency issues, provide root cause analysis and improve monitoring system to ensure the issues do not repeat
- Ensuring systems/applications availability and performance
- Providing technical assistance to Operation, Application Developers/Owners in resolving production incidents. Recommending necessary changes to currently implemented software/hardware tools.
Requirements:
- University degree in IT or related
- At least 4 years of experience in work as a Windows Engineer
- Expert knowledge in area of Windows Servers and operating systems
- Experience with Active Directory including AD group policy
- Good understanding of protocols and platforms (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Apache)
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, DOS, vb, bash, awk)
- Experience in running various hypervisor platforms
- Experience with running application platforms (RDS, Citrix)
- Server Hardware knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of emerging IT technology products, solutions, industry trends, and implementation methods.
- Very good interpersonal and analitycal skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
