The role is part of a project team tasked with upgrading the ServiceNow platform from Dublin to Fuji. An initial assessment is being done on the code base and it adherence to the new Fuji version. This role will be working on remediating the code to ensure full functionality is enabled on the new version through either code remediation or moving to new OOB solution.
Main duty is to remediate the ServiceNow system code to ensure full functionality is enabled on the new Fuji platform.
Project runs in iterative and incremental way.
Skills required:
- Min 4 years' experience working on ServiceNow, and in-depth technical knowledge of the ServiceNow modules;
- Certification in ITIL and/or any related service management technical qualifications;
- In-depth understanding of the ITIL framework;
- Experience Enterprise Operational Tools/Processes (Incident Mgt, Problem Mgt, Change Mgt, Knowledge Mgt, etc);
- ServiceNow Developer certification;
- Proficient in Java and Java script;
- Good communication skills both written and oral;
- Complex problem solving skills;
- Ability to convey complex technical information both to engineers and senior managers as well as non-technical customers and to articulate a business case to influence and drive strategy;
- Contagious enthusiasm fuelled by a desire to be best in class.
Desirable:
- Understanding of IT environments in financial institutions;
- Familiarity with the Agile methodologies;
- Proven track record in influencing and driving technology change programs;
- Previous experience of infrastructure engineering, automation and support in large (Financial Services) enterprise IT environment.
