The role is part of a BAU team tasked with fixing existing code and create new enhancements to the ServiceNow platform. This includes various work streams in the ITSM space, based of different technologies and complex connections to other adjacent systems.
The work includes creation and development bug fixes and new stakeholder requests; troubleshooting and release support.
- Provide technical solutions to support Business Analysis
- Ensure that solutions comply with Credit Suisse SNOW coding standards
- Ensure that solutions adheres to both CS architectural infrastructure whilst being in line with SNOW recommendations for optimal performance
- Work with Release Manager, Testing Team and deployment team to support migration of solutions to the various environments (Sandbox through to Production)
- Handover of all code and solutions to Support teams
Specific deliverables includes
- SNOW form creation and coding:
o Bugfixes and Enhancements for releases
o Break Fixes for Emergency changes
- SNOW technical expertise and effort estimation for stakeholder requirements
- SNOW coding:
o Interfaces to other internal systems
o Investigate and fix existing customizations
- Upgrade support
o Provide technical expertise for new ServiceNow versions (Helsinki)
o Fix existing code for upgrade support
- Min 4 years’ experience working on ServiceNow, and in-depth technical knowledge of the ServiceNow modules with specific focus on:
o ServiceNow specific Core Platform Engineering skills
o ServiceNow systems integration skills
o Advanced Java script skills (experience using ServiceNow’s Glide library is a must)
- ServiceNow Developer/Administrator certification
- Proficient in Java script
- Good communication skills both written and oral
- Complex problem solving skills
- Ability to convey complex technical information both to engineers, managers as well as non-technical customers
- Contagious enthusiasm fueled by a desire to be best in class
Desirable:
- Experience of technical business analysis
- Experience of systems management products and concepts (Configuration and Inventory, Event Management)
- Experience of infrastructure engineering in a global banking environment
- Prior implementation experience of orchestration infrastructure
- Development experience in AngularJS
- Understanding of the ITIL framework

Project details:
1 – Current phase of the project: We have a working application, which needs to be upgraded to new versions + needs to be maintained. 2 – Project methodology: We use Agile project methodology and Test Driven Methodology; We follow ITIL principles 3 – Technologies used: ServiceNow – JavaScript, Angular JS, ServiceNow Scripting, Workflows, Request Management, Orchestration, Automation, Interface development, REST/SOAP APIs; Web Methods, XML etc. 4 – Possibility to replace particular tool for another: If the project requires, it can be discussed. ServiceNow is a core part of our organization, and its unlikely to be replaced in the short term.
