The Base Station Software department, part of Motorola Solutions Polska, is looking for software engineers. As a team we are fully responsible for delivering software for mission critical and business critical communications for public safety, humanitarian solutions, manufacturing, oil and gas, retail, transportation and logistics.Our team is following industry-standard and innovative software development practices like continuous integration, continuous deployment, component- and system-level automatic tests. We use agile methodologies to organize our work ranging from cross-functional small teams to agile portfolio management.Our products are developed mainly in C++ and C on several software architecture layers, including those close to hardware, as well as on higher levels of abstraction. As owners, we are responsible for end-to-end software development life-cycle, including: specification and design, implementation, testing, delivery and maintenance.
If you want to:
- take part in the end to end software development life-cycle
- be responsible for designing, developing, unit testing, and integrating software to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of elements of the telecommunication Infrastructure
- cooperate with other teams in our global organization
- work with such technologies like C, C++, Linux, GIT, Jenkins
If you have:
- at least 2-year experience in Software Development (especially C, C++ programming languages)
- university degree
- English skills (you have to communicate with clarity and precision in English)
Nice to have:
- experienced with GIT
- demonstrated Linux system skills
- knowledge of C++ 11 or newer is a plus
- basic knowledge of telecommunication technologies
