Software Engineer Backend Junior (m/f)
Location: Wroclaw
Position Description
As eCom “Software Engineer Backend" you are responsible for the implementation of features and delivery of deployment artifacts for the backend stack of QIAGEN’s eCom platform. This role requires strong collaboration with QIAGEN’s Corp. IT and the eCom team/ delivery organization.
- Design and implementation of backend features and services interfacing w/ QIAGEN’s corp. systems of record (e.g. ERP, CRM)
- Execute agile software development practices aiming at continuous delivery
Position Requirements
- Expert knowledge of server-side Java/ .NET and related frameworks and tools
- Deep understanding of reactive and service oriented development for transactional eCommerce services
- 2+ years previous experience in similar tasks around web development
- 1+ years previous experience with eCom/ CMS systems and platforms
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Apt learner of new software technologies
- Comfortable working to deadlines
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills and good presentation skills
- Evangelist/ coach for software craftsmanship
- English (fluent)
